Since 2018, Yang has commuted between Shanghai and New York, digitally transforming Manhattan's skyline into modern Chinese landscapes. From a distance, his works resemble traditional ink paintings; up close, they reveal intricate urban details. The exhibition explores this cultural duality-where New York cityscapes become spiritual echoes of Chinese landscape traditions, and the classical concept of "distant mountains, close brushwork" is reimagined through digital media, offering a visual experience that bridges cultures.
