In an age of speed and instant gratification, slowness becomes an act of resistance. Fifteen artists embrace painstaking, repetitive, time-heavy processes, wielding the "violence of slowness" to counter accelerating life. Slowness is not gentle-it arrests time, commands attention, and forces materials to yield. Millions of needle pricks, thickened layers of paint, and insistent empty spaces show that slow is a deliberate rebellion. In an era of instant Al production, these artists choose labor over automation, duration over immediacy. Their slowness strikes against speed and against superficial seeing.
